Swiped from [personal profile] thefruitbat: List five artists that you listen to multiple albums on. Feel free to expound on any of them.

1. Queen. The biggest, the greatest, the "if I'd only been born a decade or so earlier then maybe I could have seen them when Freddie was alive"-est. Can't really have a favorite song or album, but I really love this video of them at Wembley Stadium in 1985. "Under Pressure" preceded by two minutes of Freddie working the crowd with some vocal gymnastics.

2. R.E.M. Anthems of my younger years. They still speak to me. Again, no one favorite, but here are two songs that I love that I don't recall getting much, if any, airplay in the U.S., which is where I live: Find the River (from the album "Automatic for the People") and Strange Currencies (from the album "Monster"). I saw them live twice. If they ever re-united, that would be my "shut up and take my money, take all of it" moment.

3. Thunderpussy. There in only one full-length album and an EP so listening to "multiple" albums is pretty easy here. Smaller, more recent band that I first heard at a live show in 2018 and was immediately electrified by their raw and female rock energy.

4. Jackie Greene. Fan since hauled to a live show by a roommate in San Francisco in 2004. Last time I saw him live was about a year ago. Here's a fun fave ("Gone Wanderin'" live) and a more melancholy fave ("Miss Madeline (3 Ways to Love Her)"). A line from that second one is where my username came from. I believe I was listening to the song when I set up my account on AO3 and needed a username.

5. Gangstagrass. Unifying, infectious, don't fit neatly into a pre-defined genre box, and throw a helluva live show. Here’s Nickel and Dime Blues and an opinion piece ("This Is the Music America Needs") from the New York Times several months back.
