Honestly, this journal is mainly devoted to chatting about Forever Knight (FK), the best show about a vampire who is also a Canadian police officer (no, that really is the premise). You're most likely to see me posting about other things during the snowflake_challenge in January. You can see my posts related to that here.

I participated in several fandoms in the mid/late 90s through mid-2000s. Then just... didn't. In spring 2023, I started feeling nostalgic for those times and in a fit of that nostalgia, wrote an FK fic. From there, I found my way over here to Dreamwidth, and just kinda kept on going.

At some point I'd like to re-watch Highlander, the best show about immortal beings chopping each other's heads off. But I just haven't quite made it there yet.

In fits and spurts, I've been rewatching Oz, the best show about how messed up life is in a maximum security prison. But any chatter about that mainly occurs on Discord since I discovered the Oz Discord server (oz_magi's profile has instructions for joining).

I have many interests in life, but this particular journal tends to be FK almost all of the time.

Also, it's never too late to jump into a conversation. Anyone is welcome to comment on older posts at any time. I will see it because Dreamwidth emails comments to me. Self-promotion that relates to the topic at hand is welcome here as well.
