I go d'accord with you on Janette winning the fashion award. Well, designer clothes on a drop-dead gorgeous woman who knows how to wear it - can't do anything wrong there.

Nick... yeah, he can do "woah, hey there" as well as "Did you rob the goodwill rejection pile?!" But in a suit/tux or in jeans and leather jacket with a button down, he looks really good. Actually, it's more the perpetual 3-day-beard he seems to sport from season 2 on that bothers me. And the human-days/fledgeling-days mullet. AAAAHHHHHHH! XD The "just a long undershirt" look on the other hand - nice!

Lacroix' "uniform" of very non-frills black with some silver accents is a very good look. (Went down the sword pin rabbit hole, but couldn't find any similar looking. Damn, I want one. XD )
Other people look plain in "plain" clothes, but for him, it somehow enhances his often intimidating presence.
I loved the dream sequence of the rock star episode, when he appears in skin tight leather pants and a leather jacket.
Yeah, the Rutger Hauer look. He said in an interview that a guy on a plane once mistook him for Mr. Hauer and I think he couldn't convince the guy he was not, so he played along. Haha!

Do you remember the dream sequence in (I think it was) "curiouser and curiouser?" When everyone is in a 50's-style diner and Janette and Lacroix are dressed as employees? It's weird as fuck, but both of them can pull it off.
What really surprised me was, how regal Lacroix looked in a toga. My fave flashback fashion of the series. Second place would be Urs in her saloon singer/dancer outfit. She looks almost ethereal.

I also like Vachon's perpetual grungy look. Just suits him.

The other detectives and captains and Nat, yeah, pretty generic. They could have done a bit more, but well, maybe they kept the humans rather plain as another stylistic element to draw a line between them and the vampires. Would explain why Janette suddenly wears jeans as a human...
