A search for the word “Christmas” in the Forever Knight stories on AO3 unearthed this fic gem for me:

This is a slice of life story set at the 96th precinct's holiday party and told from the point of view of Amanda Cohen. If you're like me and vexed that Forever Knight just never did much with Cohen, you're in for a real treat. You get wonderful insight into her life and her character. I enjoy her deadpan sense of humor here and all the little details we learn about her. A very nice holiday read!
